The Boston Tea Party Again?? - 12:54, Friday, March 20, 2009

Have you all heard about  National Tea Party Day?  Apparently groups are forming all over the nation on national tax day, April 15th  to peacefully protest what is going on in our government with the current spending, and economic situation. Americans are getting fed up with the trillions of dollars of debt we owe and a current President who is looking at increasing that substantially.

To learn more this Modern Day Tea Party go to www.teapartyday.com

Groups in cities all over the nation  will be gathering on Tax day and calling the White House and Senators to say "no" more taxes, no more debt!

I am deeply concerned about our nations blatant disregard for financial intergrity. Our debt is over 11 trillion now! When will this stop? It's madness.... and we can't continue.......

Anyone else out there in blog land disturbed over our seemingly irresponsible government spending?

God still sits on the throne no matter who sits in the White House - 12:14, Tuesday, January 20, 2009

I thought the message below  was such a fitting message on today of all days, when a new U.S. president was sworn into office.    Our family did watch the innaguration. I wanted my kids to see "history in making".  We are praying for Pres. Obama. Even though we did not vote for him, we are praying for God to change his heart and for godly men & women to be placed in positions of influence around him. God still sits on the throne folks - no matter who sits in the white house.  He is the one that appoints rulers over us, and at this time He has allowed Pres. Obama to be the leader of this nation.  I sure hope that we are praying for him -- for his family and for those who work with him.  Regardless of how we feel about him --  we can do much to pray for him.

These are my thoughts on today's historic events.

May America Bless God!

Politics or gospel ?

" Jesus answered , My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this worldd, then would my servants  fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. " ( John 18:36)

The fact that Christ's kingdom is not of this world is enough to keep me out of the world's politics.  If I participate in politics, then I am casting a vote of confidence in the system's ability to solve the world's problems. But frankly, I have no such confidence because I know that "the whole world lieth in wickedness".  ( 1 John 5:19)

Politics has proved singularly ineffecticve in solving the problems of society.  Political remedies are nothing but a band aid on a festering sore: they do not get at the source of the infection.  We know that sin is the basic trouble in our sick society.  Anything that fails to deal with sin cannot be taken seriously as a cure.

It becomes a matter of priorities then. Should I spend time in political involvement or should I devote that same time to the spread o the gospel?  Jesus answered the question when He said: " Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God."  ( Luke 9:60). Our top priority must be to make Christ known because He is the answer to the world's problems.

First Grade Field Trip? - 09:18, Wednesday, October 15, 2008

Recently a group of first graders ( that is 5 and 6 yr olds!) in California went on a field trip --- and guess where they went? To view the marriage of their teacher..... problem is that this teacher was marrying someone of her same gender!

To read more on this:  http://www.onenewsnow.com

Excuse me???? Since when does this constitute a field trip?????  Oh my!!

Many in this country still believer our public school remain "neutral" in the moral war we are fighting in this nation...... folks the public schools are not neutral!!!  They teach humanism and humanism is not neutral!!   This is what tax payers are paying for -- to send young children to view same gender marriages and they are expected to accept that? What is the message here folks?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that  there is an agenda here.......

Another reason why I have chosen to homeschool my children! I can not stand back and see my kids brainwashed with such garbage.

Enough is enough!

Thank  God for the freedom to have choice in education!

May God forgive us for our sins.

2008 Voter's Guide - 03:42, Wednesday, October 15, 2008

I came across this in my inbox today.

http://www.afa.net/08VG/index.html

This is a 2008 Voter's Guide that shows how each candidate ranks on key social and moral issues. You can click on the "oppose" or "supports" and find out the details on why they either support or oppose.

It's so important that the American Public be informed and educated on where our candidates stand on key issues! Please do not allow the media to make up your mind for you! Do your research, find out the candidates 'track record' and get informed!

Please continue to pray for our nation during this important time of year.

May you be blessed!

Missouri Voter Registration Fraud - 08:44, Wednesday, October 8, 2008

For those of you in Missouri, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO VOTE this coming election.

The news just broke out stating that the  orginization/ group ACORN has been charged with fraudulent voter registrations. Apparently Acorn help folks register to vote and targets lower income families who vote Democrat. Apparently the FBI is investigating ACORN because many of the registrations they have compiled are coming up as "false signatures names and addresses".  This has been reported here in Kansas City.

So please folks - if you live in the great state of Missouri, please make sure you are registered and ready to vote in November.

Missouri is a battleground state and EVERY VOTE counts!

Keep praying for America, we reallly need to keep coming before the throne of Grace on this coming election.

Tired of the liberal biased media? - 09:32, Friday, October 3, 2008

Anyone out there in blogland weary of the liberal biased media?

If so, please leave a comment..........I have been trying to keep up on election news, only to become sick to my stomach whenever I read what is in the print media. :(

It is SO obvious the liberal media machine have picked their "star boy" for this coming election. He can do no wrong in their eyes.  It is obvious they are out to "eat alive"  those that even slightly ruffle their feathers.

It makes me sick and I hope Americans are seeing the media for what they are -- socialists who are despereately trying to "shape" American's thinking......... do they really think they can dictate to us what we should think and believe???

I am sick and tired of the oh so obvious partiality and bias...... this is not journalism......good grief.

I for one am not going to allow the socialist liberal media machine dictate to me what I should think about this coming election and "who" I should vote for.

I hope & pray you will do the same!
