In All Things Give Thanks

Back into the blogging world

{ 02:27, Wednesday, July 23, 2008 } { 16 comments } { Link }

Well, after taking a much needed blogging break ~~ I have prayerfully decided to resume my blog here at HSB!  I I want to use my precious time wisely, so I will try to blog with purpose & under God's direction. I am not sure how much time or how consistent I will be this time around. We'll see how it works out. :)

I have chosen to call my blog: " In all things give thanks" based on the passage from Ephesians 5:20:

" Giving thanks all ways for all things unto God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

One of the things that God has been showing me over this past year is to be truly thankful in all things ~~ both the good things, the great things, the hard things and yes even the painful things of life! In ALL things we are to give thanks & it is my hearts desire to use this blog to bring glory to Him and to lead others to do the same.

May you be blessed!

I have been looking to see if you'd return.Your posts are such a blessing to me. Actually, my 9.5yr old loves to look at the pix of your children and what they do (he'd love to live out in the country)......he was using Rod and Staff for LA only, but saw one of your kids using the math, was asking me what he was doing, and then asked if he could use RS for math too:-).......our books came in with a mission team yesterday............anyway...........as a family who is in the adoption ministry, your family is quite an inspiration!!!

Nice to see you back! I saw your house picture and knew it was you! LOL. I love the idea of your blog. I also have a praise blog on blogspot, but I don't get to it much, not enough time to blog everywhere. I have friends and family who keep up on this one... so I try to keep them updated. But I love the idea of writing with a purpose...

Warmly, ~Melissa

SO GLAD TO SEE YOU ON!!!!

Wow, it looks like you are one missed gal! I'm trying to be more consistent over here on HSB2, but it's been slow going, since we can't get over to our place that often in the past. But NOW, with DH just retired (a young retiring...from the school district), he's been over there all summer so far! Now things should start to happen so I can post more--maybe even once a week! Whoa!
So...where in WA are you from. And 4 months gone. You must be missing the rain SO MUCH (he-he!). I'm in Enumclaw right now (know where that is?), but Tonasket up in the Okanogan is our destination.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and thank you for the compliment on it. I DO like making templates. You should pop into my other (3!) blogs and see how they are alike but different--all from the same original template from a 10-year-old blogging friend. These kids are whizzes these days. :-)

Just saying Hello from Honey Hill Farm and looking forward to your study of Proverbs 31.

Yours kindredly,
