Continued Tour Through Our Castle...

Shared in Around Home

Welcome again!

Tonight, with the help of my oldest again, I've finally got the photos up so you can "tour" our second floor!

Alright, let's head back up that open staircase...

IMG_0615.jpg picture by rellamom

The first thing you'll notice as you reach the top of the stairs is the upper bathroom. It needs work! But it's a full bath that gets lots of daily use!

Turning to the right, you'll notice the little girls' room.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

On the other side of the room is the 3 year old's bed.

Let's go back into the hall...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The very next door is the next room we'll take a peek at...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The master bedroom.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We share a room, yet, with our four month old, as you can see. The rocker and cradle get ample daily use!

The string hanging above the bed is for the fan/light. I'm so short I need its help to reach!

I wish you could see the large bookcase in my room on the other side of the wall... but this one holds all my parenting, pregnancy, and childbirth books as well as medical references. Our photo books, and baby books are also stored there. My husband's books are on a separate shelf, too.

And then, the next room we'll see after leaving mine is the little boys' room. Our five and two year olds share this one.

A view toward their door...

Oh -- And there's a handy shelf on the wall toward the ceiling too.

The next room around the corner is 17-year-old's bedroom.

Moving toward the door again...

Let's go back through the hall now, back past all the rooms we've already seen.

11-year-old's room...

I thought the idea that I was taking pictures to share, here, might motivate him to give it a good cleaning, but...

But, we weren't so fortunate.

Anyway, he's got a big interest in anything science-related. Can you tell?

Next, you'll come into the small room that houses the children's computer and the toy train table. This is the computer I use, too. In fact, I'm typing on it right now.

You can see my 14-year-old is on the computer in the above picture.

And, finally, the computer room. 17 year old is taking her time there.

Thanks for joining me!

Hope you've enjoyed the tour!

Thanks for tour. I love your house. As for the 11 yo's room, I have one just like, but he is 14. Why are little boys like that, lol? Have a great day.

PS I have a silly question for you. I was shaving my legs yesterday and I wondered to myself, was I vain for doing that. Is it vanity or good hygene? Please tell my what you think on this silly little matter....Kitty

Your house is so nice and roomy! Isn't it great how the Lord provides what we need and even some of our wants? I really do like your home a lot and really enjoy seeing the 11yo's room. It makes me feel like you are a great homemaker but yet normal at the same time. My daughter really enjoys corresponding with your's. I pray that revival meetings are proving well!!

In Christ,

Thank you for sharing your home with us!!! I was so excited to see part 2. :-)

I LOVE all the quilts on the beds!! Did you make them? I'm in love with old-fashioned quilts, especially the hand-tied ones.

Your blog is so encouraging to me!

Thank you,

Carrie, your home is just great, I think your's and Candy's home tours have taught me something...To be content with where I am!! Your home is so neat and tidy and organized, everything looks to have a place and there is no clutter...that is great, my house is the house of clutter, always something laying around...can't even take pictures of it right now because it is too messy hopefully by next week...
Blessings to you and your family
