One of my dear friends left me a comment asking how I was and said she had been thinking about me.  So, I thought I would post and explain why I haven't posted in awhile.  I have actually been considering deleting this blog but I haven't decided that is what I want to do yet.  However, I have been taking a big break because I had been spending too much time on here.  It isn't just the time I take to post, but I get caught up in reading so many of the other wonderful blogs here and I lost track of time.  I just decided to stop it all for awhile and see what I wanted to do.  I do love posting and keeping up with my friends and learning new things, but I have to come to a balance between this and everything else that needs my attention.  This week we are taking a spring break and next week I hope to get us on a little stricter schedule than we had been on before.  If this happens, I will allow a certain amount of time for me to get on the computer and check in, then I will stick to that time limit.  That is where I have been, nothing exciting going on and nothing bad has happened, just a break and getting my priorities straight.

Same here. I have been offline for over 2 weeks really and it's been very nice. I have missed everyone, and I have surely missed out on the latest news from friends, but still...the time I have spent with the computer has taken a toll on y role as wife, mother and teacher here, not to mention homekeeper in general. Being off the loop for a while has allowed me to rework those more important priorities.

I have and will miss you and everyone else I visit here, but I so understand the move to less computer time. I'm not dumping mine altogether, but it's on a very tight schedule these days for sure.

I'm so glad that everything is going well. We do all need to re-prioritize sometimes. I too have been limiting my time here and it has been very nice. I get so attached to you all here because I just don't really have any outside friends who are likeminded and as caring as all of you always are. I do miss you all when you aren't around as much, but I totally understand spending more time with our families. I'm sure we'll all work out a schedule to allow for a few minutes here and there soon.

I completely understand. God has called me to quit blogging for a bit and it has been a good respite...... I thought about blogging again and even created a blog at homeschool blogger and then sat down to write and you know what? I coudn't write! I guess that is God telling me that it is not the season and time......to all things there is a season. This is so true! I do love to write - and I have a little spot on Peggy's new community : Women Who Live Simply -- it has been a perfect balance, I can blog there a bit and yet not feel the pressure to keep up with the blog like I was here. I love this community ~ but again it was taking my focus off the Good Lord & my family.
In any case I just wanted to write and tell you that I do understand.

I just wanted to say thank you for all your sweet comments and your understanding in this matter. I knew you would all understand! Thanks also for letting me know I am not the only one that has had to do this. I do hope to keep checking in some but it just won't be as frequent as it was. I haven't figured out how some of you can post so much, comment so much and read all these wonderful blogs and still take care of everything in your home. Maybe you don't sleep ;) Anyway, thank you again my friends.
