A new source for raw milk!!

Oh, I just had to share this with all of you.  A friend of mine from church was telling me about a neighbor of hers that sells raw milk and you can get as much as you want.  Well, she lives a good distance from me but she offered to bring some up for me sometime.  This was just Friday we were discussing it and she brought me some to church on Sunday.  Want to know the best part???? It is only $3 a gallon!!! Yep, $3!  It is really good too.  She said she would be happy to get it for me and bring it to me when she comes this way.  I am so excited!  My children like it to, even the one that wouldn't try the other raw milk.  Well, he kind of got tricked on this one because it is in a plastic gallon jug like store bought and he didn't know it was raw cow's milk until after he tried it.  He likes it and got a glass today and didn't even want chocolate in it - now that is something for him!! He usually puts chocolate in all of his milk.  I haven't seperated the cream from this milk to make butter or anything yet, we have just been drinking it!

Just had to share with you!!

Blessings

Rashel

This posting made me think about the dairy farm we have up the back of us - I've been wanting to get a milk cow for our own use, but we're not ready for it yet, but maybe the dairy farm will sell it to me straight from their cows. Will have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

**Maybe they will? That would be great for you if so.

That is exciting and a great price!!!!!!!
I am glad you were able to fool your son into tasting the milk.

**I was definitely excited! I didn't fool him on purpose, but I am glad he tried it.

our raw milk source decided it was too much work and quit selling it. boo-hoo-hoo enjoy yours!

Rachel - before you ask the dairy to sell you raw milk, remember - there is a reason regular dairies pasturize their milk. cows in unsanitary conditions eating unnatural cow-food. we live in dairy country - there are 3-4 in my small town alone! - and I am very nervous about askingthem for raw milk.

Rashel, the last commenter here made a good point. You really need to know the miking conditions before drinking raw milk.It could be unsafe if the milk is not being handled properly.I am sure you probably know that, but I want to remind you. Please......be careful and take a tour of the farm where you milk is coming from.
We pasturize our goats milk, since we like the pasturized taste better. I know that the unpasterized has more benefits. My husband drinks our milk raw.

You know me, always putting up these red flag warnings.lol Overprotective I guess.

Awesome! There are so many benefits to raw milk. Have you been on Price Pottinger's website. Plus, mercola has many articles praising raw milk. Enjoy!
Blessings,
~Farrah
