Figuring out a Pantry

Well, I am trying to figure out a pantry. I do not have a basement or cellar...yet...lol. I have a big cabinet in my kichen that is a "pantry" but it is very deep and so it is hard to know what is in it. Example, I can put cans one in front of another and it will be like 8 deep. I do not have 8 of everything so it always ends op getting mixed up. So what are you alls pantry like and where is it located?
