Is Anybody Reading My Posts???

Does anybody read my posts? I was just wondering because, I only get one or two comments for each post I post. Does that mean only one or two people are reading my posts?

 I am trying to see how many people actually read my posts. So, if you read my posts could you leave a comment just to say that you read it? I am trying to see if my blogging here is worth it.

Hi,
You can get a counter to put in your blog which will tell you how many people visit. I was curious too, so I got one :)

Aw, I bet more folks read your blog than you realize. I too have heard that you can get a counter on your blog, although I have no idea how:P I read many many many blogs and most of them I don't comment on.
I read yours all the time and even though I don't comment each time, it's only because I don't have anything to add to our already wonderful information.
Miss Mary-Ann loves reading it too and, of course, the two of you have become good friends, which does my heart good to see that there are other young ladies like her out there:)
Keep up your blogging. It's wonderful to see such an industrious young lady and all the things you know and are willing to learn. I think you inspire lots of folks:)

Funny you should say that because I was thinking the same thing the other day. I thought I left a great post about having a toolbox and only got one comment so I started to wonder if it is worth it lol. But hey what do you do. I don't always leave a comment but I do if I really enjoyed the post. I take the time to. Don't give up. If you reach just one person at a time it matters to that person. I've written a few posts and never got a comment so don't feel bad.

I only read posts where the title is something interesting because I do not like to spend too much time on the computer.
I have a few regular blogs I visit, but they are more informational blogs on things I am interested in....cooking, decorating, etc...
My personal blog here on HSB is mostly for family members and close friends, not for the general public.
Why does it matter to you if people read your blog or not?

It sometimes takes time before people will leave a comment on mine, like the post I had from the 29th of last month. I got eight comments, but for the first five days I had only one. I have finally posted again, but as it was last time, I have only one comment. So yes we all do read your blog.

I, too, read your post...I worried about that b/c my last post was very heartfelt and eye-opening to me, but then NO ONE commented and I wondered if it was TOO sad or serious, but I write from my heart and it makes me feel good to express my thoughts in writing. I just wanted to tell how God blessed me in such an unexpected way.

I think the amount of comments does not reflect how many read your posts at all. Lots of times I read a post, it makes me smile, or cry, or whatever, then I just scroll to the next one. Maybe we should ALL try to leave more comments and be thoughtful of others who take the time to post info, feelings, tips, whatever.

I like the idea of the counter, but I do not know how to add one, either. If you find out, maybe you could post it for us!

You know I read your blogs. Sometimes it takes me a couple of days to read them. If I am busy and haven`t been on the computer. I sometime wonder why I blog. I have a counter on mine and sometimes there isn`t very many on there. I guess my blog is just boring. I just try to blog about things on the farm and what goes on in our lives. Sometimes I just figure everyone is busy like me and just don`t have time to comment. Hannah loves looking at everyones pics on here. Sheryl

I'm reading your blog, Belle, and I think it's a wonderful one too. Very informative and a joy to read. Sometimes I just don't have anything to comment about, in regards to what I've read, but I always come away from your blog a more informed person.
