So much going on here.
I know it's been awhile since I've posted here. Please forgive me.
It seems our dreams of a homestead could become a reality very soon.
You see Dh has a job offer in Vermont. He went up there last week for an interview and spent some time with his brother. The interview went very well. Dh also looked into a house for us, should this job pan out. It is beautiful. We are totally leaning on God. We are trying not to get to excited about the prospect. But just trying to wait on God for his direction and that we follow his will. The thought of our dreams becoming reality is so sureal yet scary all at once. It would be a big move on our part. We are awaiting the information for dh to have a 2nd interview. They said they would be calling him about it soon. They requested a salary history, which we provided and it seems that they will be in our range of what we need. We could easily sell our house here in NJ and pay CASH for a house in VT. This is such an exciting prospect!! To be mortgage free!! WOW!!! The house in VT, is on 15 acres!!! 4 bedrooms, full basement, guest house, 2 car garage, pool, hot tub, artisan well on the property and mountain view. It's lovely!!!! I can see us there. But I'm so scared..Anyone out there make a "blind" move like this?? We would be leaving our home state. Most likly would not be able to return here. It's just way to expensive! That's scary to me..I know I need to trust in the Lord. so..
Trusting...Waiting on God's timing!!!

How exciting!
You will be in my prayers as you (possibly) start your journey!
Hugs,

Yeppers! I did it!
When we moved to Northern NH back in 1993, we came up blind. We were looking for a house on the Mass/NH border when a friend of a friend told us about a General Store about 1 hour from Canada (as the crow flies) ~ we jumped right in and bought it. Been a few places since, but cam eback up as soon as the opportunity presented itself. No regrets!
Where in VT?
Val
We have made a move blindly
Hi, I read the blogs often and I just click on random blogs and I came to yours first this morning. I read your latest entry and I'll respond about that in a sec:0) When I read the one about your dd's B-day on Valentines day I just had to respond. My dd (2) is Emmaleigh Rose, without the hyphen. I thought it was so neat when I saw your dd's name. They have the same exact name, just one with a hyphen. Did you here a lot of comments on how much trouble she will have spelling it? I did and still do.She has a beautiful name. Im glad she had a good B-day:0)
Back to the blind move,The new house sounds beautiful. We moved from N.H to Northern Maine 3 yrs ago come this Aug It was extremely hard for us because ,my husband Garry didnt have a job lined up,so you have a plus in a major way. We had the oppurtunity because my dad moved up here and bought a house at auction for $22,000. We came up and visited, loved the small town feel and decided to sell our 3 brm ranch,in NH. With the profits we were able to buy our new home out right and fixed it to our likeing. It has been a struggle a little bit in the begining and we thought of moving on more then one occasion, because of the low pay at the jobs Garry was getting. But we decided against it. Our 4 children were happy and well adjusted to the move and were very upset at the idea of moving again. They have made some wonderful friends and they may not be a lot of stores and such around but thats what I like about it most sometimes. I wouldnt change what we did for anything even though $$ was an issue for awhile.
I wish you luck with what ever happens and I will pray that it does happen for you. Have a good day Sarah. I now have your blog book marked so I can read the updates:0)
My space bar sticks,so sorry for any stuck together words:0)
