Sand Boxes

We need to make a sand box this year. We use to have one of those plastic Lil Tykes ladybug sand boxes but that was a long time and 2 kids ago. It was too small. Since we live in town (and there are many cats . . . .) we need a box with a lid.

So do you have an awesome homemade sand box? An EASY to make homemade sandbox? With a cover?

Spring isn't only about getting the gardens ready. I'd like to keep my 2 year old DS from digging in my garden unnecessarily. lol
