Verses I’m clinging to today-The following verses were all in order in a decorative box filled with slips of paper with “240 Promises from the Word of God”. I just pulled them out and read them. God is so incredibly good!Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me. Psalm 138:7a If we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us. 1 John 5:14b Your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. Matthew 6:32b The Lord shall give you rest from your sorrow. Isaiah 14:3a I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 Nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37 I have forgotten that God wants to give me good things. I’ve been so incredibly concerned that the “other shoe will drop” that I’ve taken my all powerful incredible and awesome God and put Him in a box- thinking not that He can’t do great things for me- but that He won’t do great things for me because I don’t deserve them. Ahem- I don’t deserve anything that I have- not my husband, children or home- I am a sinner, completely undeserving—Yet He desires to give me good things! I have taken God out of that cramped box. I am assured that He desires, He wants to give me good things. He will see us through this. Of this I am confident. Besides- no matter what- I will praise Him.
