I am back.
Sort of.
I have over 200 plus emails to slog thru and am not feeling well.
In fact, I spent the bulk of our trip- SICK. We believe I have a sinus infection. It has lessened now but for a couple of days Up North it was extremely painful. I missed out on a lot of our trip and what I was a part of was marred by pain.
Did a lot of praying.
Am doing better but am not totally on the upswing as of yet.
Spending time resting, doing school, resting, doing laundry, resting etc.
Tonight I am actually making supper. Cooking hasn't been a high priority when you can't stay upright for very long.
Mr. Steady and the kids (as well as my parents on the trip) have been more wonderful than ever! I cannot express the depth of my gratitude and love to them- words fail me.
I am so very proud of them all.
I will update when I am able.

Amy, I pray that you get well very soon and that this infection does not hang around. Sinus infections (in fact any infection) is horrible.

Make sure you get plenty of rest if you can :)

Blessings

Sorry you were so sick, especially on vacation. Praying for a quick recovery.

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD12- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD9- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added sweet flavor to our family.

DS5- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He's the little man and best helper around! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
