Ballard Biscuits

Here's the recipe for our Tuesday nite dinner . . . .

Ballard Biscuits

1 lb. hamburger [$1.50]

2/3 cup chopped onions [free from garden]

1 tsp. salt

1 can cream of mushroom soup [44 cents]

1 can cream of chicken soup [44 cents]

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese [$1.29]

¼ cup milk [3 cents]

¼ cup catsup

1 tube refrigerator biscuits [$1.29]

Brown hamburger with onion and salt, then drain. Add soups, cream cheese, milk, and catsup. Mix well. Pour into loaf pan and place in oven at 350* oven 20-30 minutes until bubbly. Remove from oven and lay biscuits on top. Return to 375* oven for 15-20 minutes.

Total cost of casserole: $3.70
I serve a side salad or veggies with this to round out the meal.
