Ice no snow and no sick!
The ice has stuck around but not the snow. Supposedly we will get perhaps an inch of snow today. It's interesting that my parents live about 7 miles away (west) and always get twice as much as we do- good ol' lake effect.The car is covered in ice and my keyless entry has ceased working. Its about 20 degrees out. Here's to hoping I can open my car door without having to carry a bucket of warm water out there to dump on it. LOL
Sassafras stopped vomitting around 5 pm last nite so we are good to go to homeschool group today. No one else has shown any signs of ickiness and so I continue to pray that we've made it thru. I keep pushing the vitamins and such!
I'll be stopping at the store to pick up a battery for my keyless entry button. Hopefully that is all that it is.
My mother found a slightly battered 3 drawer white metal file cabinet and donated it to us for homeschool- 3 drawers- 3 kids! It's on the porch right now as I don't know where to put it yet and am thinking that I would like to give it a new paint job.
The sun is shining thru the icy trees and it is a mezmerizing sight to behold. God shows us beauty in so many things.
I am thankful for today.

My Husband (DH)-Mr. Steady
My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.
DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.
DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.
DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
