What works for meWorks for Me Wednesday Here’s what works for me today- specific items to store in your kitchen under the sink cabinet- First Aid Kit and a flashlight with extra batteries. After last week’s episode I am glad to have a very basic first aid kit handy in my kitchen. Very simply it is a clear shoe box with fitted lid filled with necessary supplies- Aloe Vera (for kitchen burn incidents), band-aids, butterfly closures, big knee size band-aids, antibiotic ointment, two dark colored washcloths (hides blood), rubbing alcohol , cotton balls and one of those handy little ice pack bags with screw on lid (just dump ice in it!). We keep this kit basic without any medications because of its location. As for the flash light- Mr. Steady got me a really cool Mag light kit. The flashlight came with a clip/clamp to screw into the wall to handily store it! It is stored right inside on the wall in the cabinet- no more searching for a flashlight! We change our flashlight batteries when we change our smoke detector batteries (@ day light savings time) but it’s always a good idea to store batteries close by where you will need them. Well, that’s what works for me today! Hop on over to Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 789 of 1499 } { Next Page } |
