Psalm 136:1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
         For His mercy endures forever.

Oh Lord I am so deeply grateful for your grace and mercy on my life and the lives of my family. You are so good to us and blessed us richly in 2006. Thank you Lord for the trials you saw us through, for the precious moments you helped us make, for how you carved yourself deeper into our hearts. Thank you for the Living Water, we will never thirst again. Thank you for the Bread of Life, may we ever, only hunger after you.
The Lord says, “Forget about what has happened before. Do not think about the past. [Instead] look at the new thing I am going to do. Isaiah 43:18-19
May I look on 2007 with fresh eyes LORD. Looking and craving for the possibilities of growth and discipleship. Lord, You are far more interested in my future than you are in my past! Thank you!
Lord, there is not a spot or blemish on this new year yet-- I know they will come but with them will also be wonderful, sweet precious times. Lord, be my success this year. Lead and guide me, strengthen and uphold me. May I not wallow in the trials but rejoice in you delivering me. May the troubles that come serve to grow and mold me and not defeat me. Help me, Lord to slow down and capture the joy and contentment of each new day you put before me.
Bless my cup to overflowing so much that I must drink from the saucer! Show me also, the blessings in the midst of pain and chaos that I may grow.
