So and so and so on

Boy we sure have thrown our schedules out of whack while on vacation this past week. The kiddos couldn't be peeled out of bed until 9 am!
We ended up having brunch instead of breakfast at 10 am. Cinnamon rolls with yummy icing, sliced oranges and bananas- so nice and laid back.
Kids got some videos from the Library and we enjoyed watching Toot and Puddle's Christmas movie- oh, so cute.
Sheets are in the wash and Maiden and I made up a new batch of laundry detergent. Tried to make it a bit different this time and am hoping it turns out well.
Mr. Steady is sitting and enjoying his new Suduko book and the kids are all just hanging out and playing. Our nephew and Mr. Conductor's bestest friend will be coming over later to play. We've had to postpone errupting Sassafras's volcano the last couple of days due to this, that or the other. We plan to set it off when Jakey (nephew) is here later on.
We've bought all the ingredients for all our yummy New Year's Eve dishes. We'll be making Amy's Famous Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, double pizza dip and scoop chips, meatballs con queso, ham and cream cheese roll-ups, Sassafras's gingerbread cake and a few liters of our favorite sodas. And probably eating the leftovers on Monday. We like to eat good- the rest of my family will be contributing their favorite appetizer dishes too . . . . .
Also-- My Mama beat Mr. Steady to the local fireworks store and bought way too much "boom-booms" as Jakey use to say.
In other news: I'm working on an idea for something to share here- that's if I can get it all out on paper- my mind works faster than I can write/type sometimes!
