My Goals

I don’t make resolutions- I write down goals of what I’d like to accomplish. I have looked back on my goals for 2006 and I was able to cross out half of them- that made me feel good! I like to make a list of goals with some that are easy to complete and some that will take time and effort and a bit that I will always need to work on (like controlling my anger and growing in my walk with the Lord.) I like fun goals (like visiting a new zoo) and difficult ones (like paying down debt).
And so here are some of my goals for 2007:

~ learn to sew something simple.

~ add to and rearrange my gardens.

~ declutter all our closets.

~ paint my bedroom closet.

~ finish our remodeling- rearranging project we started last summer.

~ continue paying down our debt.

~ Try yard saling (with a list of needed items)

~ don’t gain weight

~ visit a new/different zoo.

~ continue drinking more water than other beverages (especially coffee).
~ spend more time enjoying and less time worrying.

~Work more on getting caught up with my scrapbooks.

~ redo my home management binder.

~ continue my Thankful list

~ get away for a couple of days with just my husband.

~ less yelling and better control of my temper

And as always:

~I desire to grow more in my relationship with the Lord

I wish you could meet my sister-in-law, Nancy, in Portage. She is good with a sewing machine and serger. May God bless you as you seek to achieve your goals!...........Denise (prairiemom)
