Happy 10th Birthday, My Darling Daughter.

10 Things I love about Maiden

1. I love your dimples and that cheeky grin!
2. I love that you inherited my love of reading. You simply devour books! It’s your favorite past time.
3. I love the compassion/empathy you have for others and the fact that you are not afraid to act on it.

4. I love seeing you play the tambourine and sing in the praise band at church.
5. I love, love, love your red hair!
6. I love the way you tell a joke or a story.

7. I love how you are growing into such a lovely young woman. You are learning how to keep a home and helping me more and more. You are a treasure!

8. I love how you dream big. Never stop! God has incredible plans for you.

9. I love it that you love homeschooling as much as I do.

10. Best of all- I love how much you love your Jesus!

A daughter may outgrow your lap,

But she will never outgrow your heart.

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD12- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD9- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added sweet flavor to our family.

DS5- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He's the little man and best helper around! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
