Another reason I love my Hubby

I am a visual learner. When I decided I wanted to hide more of God's Word in my heart I began writing verses that impacted me on post-it notes and putting them up all over the house. This quickly grew out of control and looked pretty messy so I took them down and stuck them in my quote journal but I didn't pick up the journal and thumb thru it multiple times a day like when I would go past a note and read it. So I decided to use my print shop program and create business card size verses with pretty legible and correctly spelled script. I then laminated the verses and began tucking them all over the house again. A couple on the bathroom mirror, 3 by the kitchen sink, one on the washing machine, a few in corners of picture frames, sprinkled in with candles and pictures on top of our entertainment center . . . . you get the picture. So as I go about my day I stop and read a verse and often mediate on them. Many verses are about my role as wife, mother and home keeper. One such verse is on our downstairs bathroom mirror- where I can see it at least 20 times a day! :o)

A worthy wife is her husband's joy and crown. Proverbs 12:4a

 Well that verse has been up for months and months and months and is a constant reminder to me to be worthy of my husband- to be a companion and a help meet. Brad, my DH, hasn't ever really commented on the verses except to say my new way is much better than the post-its! But then a few months ago he left me a note on the dry-erase board we keep on our fridge.  The note meant so much to me that I continue to keep it there (always careful not to wipe it off or smudge it). IÂ’d like to share it with you:

 IsnÂ’t he a sweetie!?! He is not the type to write love notes or wax poetic so when he does something like this it is simply priceless! And itÂ’s another reminder to me to continue to be worthy.
