questions about Aldi

11:07 AM, 2006-Nov-14 .. Posted by Lynne
I have never heard of Aldi, so I googled it and found out there is supposed to be one tucked away where I would never see it. It is in a location I would shop at about every 2 weeks. Do you normally buy Aldi store brands? Is their meat ok? Is there anything I should avoid? I am probably going to go see the Aldi later this week.

your gifts!

Aldi's

Lynne-
I think you will really like Aldi's. The meat is fine (I love getting turkey burger for 79 cent/lb.). I get all my canned goods there and frozen veggies plus apple juice. I find they are higher priced on eggs and milk. They don't carry third fat cream cheese which I like to buy. But those are really my only complaints. Last week, I got myself a treat, a half dozen roses for $2.99 and an evergreen scented candles for 89 cents. The roses lasted 5 days!
Please let me know what you think of it after you go!

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD12- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD9- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added sweet flavor to our family.

DS5- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He's the little man and best helper around! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
