Prayer Update for MikePlease continue to lift Mr. Steady's cousin, Mike in prayer. Mike continues to be in a drug-induced coma (perhaps for 4 more weeks). Pnemonia has set in and there is some bacterial infections. The skin grafts already done to his chest and shoulders have rejected. The heavy doses of medication have taken a toll on his kidneys and they have put in a filter that I at best, can liken to dialysis. He continues to have problems with low blood pressure and is on a blood thinner to help prevent blood clots. They are also giving him units of blood as they believe there is some bleeding still from his wounds.Lest you think the outlook is bleak- we have been told that it will get worth before before it gets better. Mike's face is now recognizable (his facial hair has grown in and been shaved- good signs) and his skin is, overall, looking better. There have been a couple of incidents that have continued to remind us that God is in control. Mike has made progress that has astounded the doctors and we attribute it all to the Lord. Pray is incredible! Please continue to lift Mike and his family up to the Lord in prayer. Mike had a good nite last nite and we are praying for more. "On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of night. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me."
