Answering some questions

For Amanda Bennett's Unit Studies go here. I own the following unit studies from AB: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Pioneers and Gardens. I absolutely love her studies- especially the notebooking pages she includes! Her studies are now downloadable or you can purchase them on CDROM. She gives oodles and oodles of internet links that are so helpful and informative- I don't even use half the links- there are so many. She has a scrapbooking unit study that I am currently eyeing . . . . . You just have to see all the studies she has to offer . . .  It's a great intro to Unit Studies too- if you've never done one before.
To Lynn- on a child sharing her prayer request for her dog and the pastor then mentioning the request in prayer . . . . . First, can I say that made me chuckle?  'Cause it did. Here's my thought: Your daughter was quite sincere in her prayer- she meant it whole heartedly and I believe that is why the pastor prayed- not because of the dog but for your daughter. If we are to come to the Kingdom as children then we are to have the simple requests of children. No prayer request is trivial when it is brought to the Lord with such a loving, caring heart. To quote Corrie Ten Boom, "Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden." In my words- "If it causes you even the slightest worry- take it to the Lord in prayer- no matter how small it may seem."
