Update on Husband's CousinMike had his first surgery yesterday- taking skin graphs from his thigh. They tried to put a feeding tube into him but were unable to do so at this time as he was losing too much blood. I believe they will be attempting the feeding tube again in a few days. He is the same but his sister commented that he seems more restful, more peaceful. Please pray for the doctors- that God would lead and guide them in all matters concerning Mike's care. There has been an overwhelming outpouring by our community and is reaching even farther than that. My greatest prayer request continues to be for the spiritual needs of this family. Mike's boys, 10 and 6 yrs., are being kept in the dark about the seriousness of Mike's condition. His 10 yr old boy remarked the other day that he has never been to church and doesn't know how to pray. Oh, please pray that God would bring along side people of His choosing to minister to their hearts and souls in just the right way, God's way. I am so burdened for them and I know others are too. I pray that we do not overwhelm them with good intentions. I am reminded that God spoke not in the roaring wind but in the whisper and am praying in that vein for this family. That God would speak quietly to their hearts and give balm to their weary spirits. That He would calm, quiet and comfort them and be so real to them that they feel His very presence. Would you pray that with me today? Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 1073 of 1617 } { Next Page } |
