More Prayer
My heart is heavy and overwhelmed as I share another prayer request. We found out Sunday morning that my husband's cousin's home burned down in the wee hours of the night Sat/Sun. The cousin, who is my husband is quite close with, is in a drug-induced coma in critical condition in the burn unit of a local hospital. He has burns over 60% of his body.We are in shock. His wife and two young sons are physically fine- He went back into the burning home to rescue their dog. They are in such need of prayer right now.
My husband and I are burdened for this family and our concern about where they sit in their relationship with the Lord. We know that at times like this we either draw closer to or further away from the Lord and we are praying for the former. We are praying that God would meet this cousin right where he is at and minister to him both in body and in spirit. We beleive in a God of miracles and a Lord of grace and mercy.
We also believe that the more prayer warriors praying the better.
May the Lord surround us with His loving kindness and tender mercies. May He fill our lives with all good things. [Psalm 103:4b-5a]

My Husband (DH)-Mr. Steady
My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.
DD12- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.
DD9- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added sweet flavor to our family.
DS5- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He's the little man and best helper around! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
