Needing prayer

10:06 AM, 2006-Oct-13 .. Posted in God is Good .. 6 comments .. Link

I have a very heavy unspoken prayer request. It is not only mine to tell so I must keep it unspoken but the weight of it is simply crushing me. The very hardest part of all it not being able to share it with anyone at all. No one.
I have been continually pouring my heart out to the Lord- crying out to Him over and over about this. I am simply devastated. But even in my pain and dispair I know that God hears me. I am so deeply seeking His will in this situation. I am and I MUST totally rely on Him to see me  thru and guide me in my actions and reactions.
I must not let my anger, feelings of helplessness and overwhelming pain get ahead of what God can do in me and thru me in this situation. God is a God of miracles- He is the God of the Impossible.
There is joy in my days inspite of the pain that is constant in my heart. Please pray for me. I know this is a very cryptic post and I deeply wish I could say more.
Please pray for me that God would be in control of this situation- that He would provide healing and restoration.
Thank you.

Praying

Dear Amy,
I will (and already have) be praying for you today. Your comment about feeling crushed made me think of the verses I have clung to many times. Psalms 34:17-18 says: The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are CRUSHED in spirit.

May His peace surround you today.

Amy, I am very sad to hear today's post. I will pray for you. I hope there is someone you can talk to, even a stranger, so you are not keeping this inside.

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD12- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD9- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added sweet flavor to our family.

DS5- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He's the little man and best helper around! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
