Home Sweet Simple Home

O Where, O Where is my TOS?

I agree with In His Hands—IÂ’m anxiously awaiting my Winter Issue of The Old Schoolhouse. When I saw some of you saying “Got my copy” I was soooo very very excited and thought mine would be in the mail that day! Nope. ItÂ’s like back when I was a kiddo and itÂ’s the week of my birthday and IÂ’m anxiously checking my mailbox every day for those birthday cards with crisp dollar bills from far flung relatives  . . . . except that now IÂ’m older and dollar bills donÂ’t come in the mail- just bills.  So itÂ’s my new favorite magazine that I am anxiously checking my mailbox for every day. I think I'll save my new apple cinnamon coffee (I've been hoarding it along with caramel creamer!) to savor along with the delicious reading I plan on doing. Now I just wait for it to come.

They've mailed....you should have it anyday! :)

Enjoy--it's a good one, but then so is every issue!

My Husband (DH)-
Mr. Steady

My rock and biggest supporter. The glue that keeps the family sane. He is like deep, deep water- it takes a lot to see a ripple.

DD11- Our Maiden in Waiting- By the world's standard she's a 'tween'. By ours and the Lord's- this is the time of her years of preparation. She is eagerly learning what it means to keep a home and daily becomes more and more of a helper to her Mama.

DD8- Sassafras My Sassy middle child. She holds her own so sweetly and has such an empathetic heart. While real Sassafras is used for flavoring- She is that added spice of flavor to our family.

DS4- Mr. Conductor- The train aficionado in the family. He likes to think he's in charge and often is! He's also the biggest Oreo fiend in the family.
