Crazy Weather

Okay- Tuesday it rained and then snowed in late evening. Wednesday afternoon the snow melted. Thursday morning it was icy and cold. Thursday afternoon it was a balmy 54 degrees. Today it is 42 degrees and sunny then overcast, sunny then overcast. Crazy weather. The temp is suppose to continue falling and they're calling for snow tomorrow. We'll see!

One good thing I can say about a mild January is that with the higher heating costs we aren't using as much gas as last year. I miss the snow and so do the kids (no fun playing in mud when its cold- especially when you've only gone sledding twice).

The weather is also playing havok with my plants-- they need to keep sleeping. We aren't meant for such an early spring in Michigan.

I think I'm going to start an indoor salad garden like I read on Rebekah's blog. Sounds just yummy and will help with this urge I have to go forth and plant!
