Argh, Matey!

Ahoy there! Shiver Me Timbers!
Um- running out of pirate-y lingo.
I am off to the movies (can't remember the last time I actually went to the movies . . . .) Taking my youth to go see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 tonite. Looking forward to the fun. I've got a couple of kiddos who'll dress up for it- because they are crazy that way. Hopefully I'll remember to bring the camera along with the extra large box of contraband (aka junior mints) that'll be shaking around in my purse. Maybe I'll grab a box of raisinettes too while I'm at the dollar store . . . . .
Wondering how much the movies cost these days- think we'll be paying $8.25 each then there's the pop and popcorn . . . . . Gee I remember when DH and I were dating and we could go to the movies and a fast food place for under 20 smackeroos. Sigh- ah, the good ol' days. Gone, Gone, Gone.
Well- gotta scoot. My precious children (whom I threatened today . . . .) will be going to Nana and Grampy's (a bit of a repreive). My darling, delightful hubsy-wubsy (he he) will be going with me tonight- but I'm sure there will be about half a dozen teenagers between us. Oh, the romance of it all.
Like I said- gotta scoot. I'm just excited about going out and especially about seeing the movie. Pirates is one of my addictions- yes, I admit it. I'm a Pirate junkie.

I hope you enjoyed the movie. I havent seen either one of the POTC movies *GASP*, but have been watching A&E's Horation Hornblower movies. They are great! Not exactly pirates....ARRRGH, but still take place on the open sea!
