Coloring Eggs HIS WAY

This is how my DS started out when we were coloring Easter eggs on Friday.

And this is how he ended up.You can't see it very well but not only was it his hands but . . . . he rubbed his right eye earlier in the coloring and had a blue ring around it. I have to admit I was quite dismayed by this sight- thinking about Easter Sunday and Family Pictures and his smarmy Easter Outfit and him with blue/green hands . . . . then I got over myself and laughed and laughed. I must have taken about 10 pictures of those little hands! Can you see the rivelets of colored water running down his arm . . . . oh the fun we had.

I can report that most of it came off after 2 good soakings in the tubby. Easter morn- all that remained was the color around and under his fingernails. What a hoot!

He also tried to drink the water- which we greatly discouraged . . . didn't seem to affect him any.

What fun!

Now, THAT's the way to color eggs!!! I love watching little ones color eggs ..... they really get into their work!! And he's a cutie, too!

This is a young man who takes his scripture seriously. And his egg-dying.

I am so glad you thought to take pictures. What fun it will be when he's married. Better yet, your grandchildren will really love it!
