An evening watching movies

Posted on January 13, 2009 at 6:37 AM

- Post Comment The girls wanted to watch something last night, so we pulled out some old videos.  The first one we watched was The Summer of 1994.  Mom took the video when they were up at our place.  Emily was a couple of weeks old, RaeAnne 1 1/2, and Josh 3 1/2.  It is fun to watch those and remember when the kids were smaller.  We were still living in town.  We thought we had a big garden there.  It was tiny compared to our garden out here.  We fit a lot in our back yard.  We had a grassy area for the kids to play on, a garden, 6 fruit trees, a shed, some grape vines, and a raspberry patch.  I think we had about 1/3 of an acre in town.  Also in this video was my little brother, he was 12 at the time amd several nephews.

After that video, we pulled out our Wedding video.  The girls commented on how young Daddy and Mama looked.  Even Grandpa and Grandma looked young.  I guess we have changed.  We will be celebrating 20 years this coming March.
