I'm a mother of two girls and two boys. I am having a very hard time finding modest clothing for my girls and they are only 5 and 3 years old! I do not know how to sew so I can't make my girls any modest clothing. My 5 year old is tall for her age and I'm having to buy her clothes that are to big just so the skirts won't be to short! Its a lot easier for me to keep my boys in modest clothing than my girls!!

Have you checked at Goodwill? We (2 daughters & I) wear skirts/dresses full time and that is the only place that we can find decent ones!

I know you said you don't sew, but have you considered learning? Even just basic knowledge will enable you to make simple, modest dresses for your girls. :) I have a tutorial on my blog for making t-shirt dresses -- that has to be about as easy as it gets. :) If you know anyone who sews, maybe they could show you just a little?

i too want my girls to be modest in all things. I had to teach myself to sew.I am by no means the best seamstress in the world and my 12 yo thinks that it is old fashioned. my 10 yo likes to pick out fabric. they both love the culottes that I was able to figure out how to make. It looks like a skirt and is very modest for the monkey bars! I even made myself a pair! Now all the young ladies in our church have a pair and they no longer fear that they will look indecent playing kick ball or volley ball. I hope that you will try to learn. It has been a real blessing to me!
