Happy Thanksgiving!

There are so many things I'm thankful for- first and foremost, the mercy and grace of God, that he sent His only Son to provide an example for us of how to walk in faith, to die on the cross that we might have everlasting life.  I'm thankful for my husband and children, and the joy we share as we walk through each day together.  I'm thankful that we live in a country where we can worship without fear of persecution, travel as we choose, and homeschool our children.  There are so many more things I could list, but I won't- there are too many other things I could be doing, for which I am also thankful.  To begin with, getting out in the freezing snow to feed my beautiful goats!

I'm thinking about buying my children a miniature horse for Christmas- does anyone have any advice on this?  I've heard that they make wonderful children's pets, but I've heard from others that they can be quite temperamental.

By the way, I'm going to be 30 on the 30th- my husband keeps insisting that this should make me emotional, but I'm not so far.  We'll see how I feel on the day.
