Big News at Our House!

We are expecting baby Lester number 5!  Expected due date according to the calendar is the end of April, but since I am nearly always overdue, the middle of May is more realistic.  The other children have been told, and are quite excited.  5 yo Matthew and 3 yo Cora are hoping for a boy.  7 yo Anna would like another girl.  Or, better yet, Matthew says, I'd like twins.  No, no, triplets!  Anna cries.  I know we'll all be happy for one happy, healthy baby, no matter what the gender.

Matthew thinks Luke Skywalker would be a good name for a boy.  Cora says "Mangadoo."  "That's an odd name,"  I replied.  "No, it's a funny name," she says.  "Or how about Kono?"  "Where are you getting these names?"  I asked.  "I'm just making them up!"  she smiled.  I think we'll leave the name picking up to mommy and daddy.  Although, I really like the name Leilah Verle for a girl; my grandmother's name was Verle.  Duane thinks Verle is the ugliest name ever-!  I'm sure we'll find something we agree on eventually.

Congratulations!! How wonderful. ---- Be careful with that naming business... my 7yr old brother named me. I was "this" close to being "Godzookie," but my parents liked his "Kaleesha" a tad bit better. ;) With one "Blue Berry" and one "Royal Payne," everyone's dying to know what we're going to name the newest model. Quite a lot of pressure! But fun.
