FOR TODAY

Outside My Window...the sun is shining but the sky is gray

I am thinking...worriesome thoughts

I am thankful for...my husband home

From the kitchen...the tea kettle is hot & the coffee is on

I am creating...????

I am going...to town for "supplies"

I am reading...Nourishing Traditions Cook Book

I am hoping...we finish installing our new water heater

I am hearing...birds outside

Around the house...my children are still sleeping

One of my favorite things...strawberry shortcake

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:

Clean up our "project" mess

Finish planting the raised beds

Figure out a better budget

Get the cow bred

I enjoyed that. Plus I wanted to tell you I just read your "about me" and am just fascinated with you! : ) I love how self sufficient you all are. I'd love to be more like that. We raise gardens and grow herbs and I can and freeze and we raise chickens for eggs. I think that's great that you have your own beef and milk. I'd love to hear more about that and how you got started. We have only about 4 acres.
