New spring arrivals! Goat kids are here...

          Last evening our oldest Alpine doe gave birth to these cute little kids, a doe and a buck. The doe is Patience, and the buck we named Pokey. He was very weak at first, but after working with him for a while he came around nicely. His name suits him, though. We waited very patiently all day for the mama to deliver, hence the names. I am especially thrilled with the doeling's markings. She weighed in over 8lb. 3oz., and the boy was 7lb. 14oz. We are also pleased that they got their mama's wattles!  Patience and Pokey 12 hours old

Your little goats are soo cute! I love baby goats, they are so adorable! We have had a few little goats so far this year...
