Back in the nest

         ~Greetings from our PA mountain homestead~

Well, my chickies are all safely back in the nest. After a long day of driving and some bad weather along the way, my three oldest children returned from upstate New York last evening shortly after 6 p.m. They counted 22 wrecks/stranded vehicles along the way. My son referred to it as going through the valley of the shadow of death...oh my!  It was too late to return home last night, so my sister got things squared away via phone with her hubby and babysitter last night, and spent the night here. Another cold one...no, cold isn't the word for it. Even the sun looked cold coming up this morning. Which reminds me...I need to go put more wood on the fire!
