I typed our chore chart into our office writer to create a neater copy, and thought I would share what "chores" look like around our house. The 5-14 year olds all have responsibilities. We have been using this format for the past number of years, with occasional revisions, of course, and it works well. (Don't know what happened to the bottom of the scan-it looks blocked out). I color coded  some of the chores to help me locate items more quickly in case of a question and make it easier for them to identify what they need to do as well.

I should add that they all love to help out with meal preparation and fixing breakfast or lunch for the younger ones. And many times they will take the littler ones outside and do a great job supervising their safety and whereabouts. They do a good job of helping keep the clutter picked up so the main living areas are presentable, even without being asked. Elizabeth especially is continually busy pitching in wherever she seems something that needs to be done. She can even make  bread on her own...I am so thankful for willing and dependable workers who have a sense of purpose and feeling of accomplishment for a job well done. They are learning valuable life lessons and obtaining a sense of self-worth and importance in the family. I think are also learning the joy of serving others and value of working as a team, too!

I like your schedule... Seems organized. I tried doing an all day schedule before, didn't work super well, but I like the idea of a chore schedule... Thanks for sharing!
