BEE KEEPING

There are many large old apple trees on our property and we are seriously interested in keeping a few bees for honey.  Any hints on getting started without a lot of expense?

I think it is wonderful you have 9 almost 10 children !! Keep us up to date on the baby and show pictures of all your children when you can !!!!! I'll be praying for y'all.

I do not have any advice about the bee's though, but there is a couple in our church that have some, any questions you may have, I can ask them and relay it back to you.

Wow all those apple trees; applesauce, applefritters, stewed apples and APPLE PIE, MMmmm !!!! Sure wish we had some around here at our place !! {Of course according to our landlord yesterday, we will have to be moving in the next year or so, cause he wants to put a garage here. Sigh!!}

Well I'm very happy for you and your family, sorry about your 12 year old, though. I never had much initiative when I was growing up either and it caused me alot of problems, not saying it will him though. At least he is being raised by a CHRISTian family, I wasn't. Is he the oldest boy?? Maybe he feels undo pressure of that ?? {Just thinking out loud, here!!} My boy is in college now and he lived with his dad at that time of his life and his dad was VERY strict and gave him no leniency on anything. Sorry I have no advice to give you. But it is very nice having you here !!!
