Thursday Thirteen

                           

                         ~Thirteen things about my week~

1.Answered prayers for my sister, who had good news from the neurosurgeon-a tiny benign meningioma that they are going to monitor but do not expect any major difficulties with...

2. Made my first sales in goat milk soap and candles - and even baked goods for that matter- over the weekend. I am pretty excited about that. And I got my first order for soap and candles, too!

3. I have been doodling with my baby's curls that have recently developed at the back of his sweet little neck    

4. Most of the autumn leaves have dropped off the trees here-we have had several heavy frosts

5. We have been sleeping in until after 7:00 most days-dh has a local residential job this week...

6. My dairy goats have been in heat  A couple more weeks and we will bring the bucks over for breeding.

7. I trimmed goat hooves-had a bleeder (she is ok)

8. We brought in 12 large round hay bales for winter and windbreaks

9. I baby sat two little children for a local woman (such cuties, too)

10. Got caught up on checking everyone's homework after a busy week last week, getting ready for a sale

11. Sent a petition to a state senator to vote down a bill which would infringe upon the rights of a parent to make decisions about their own child's readiness for school, and allow the government more control over education.

12. Got the announcement about Amanda's baby!!!  I just LOVE new babies...

13. Read up on making herbal tinctures-want to try that someday.

Wow... you are my bestest friend and I talk to you a zillion times a day and I didn't know 1/2 of that stuff... What petition?

That's funny...I said the same thing when I read yours!!!!!! ;)
I think we discussed most of it, though, right down to the bleedin' Honeydew- lol
State house bill 377, as far as I can remember...
