According to a speed checker website, my page takes dial-up users 437.1 seconds to download... :(

Any and all feedback on THAT would be greatly appreciated...and Thanks! :)

I copied that first goat pic (cute by the way!) and looked at it's dimensions/dpi in PhotoShop. While it's dimensionally a small pic, the dpi was 230. For web use, you really only need a 72 dpi image, so you could easily resize your images to 72 dpi (which will make them appear much smaller) and, while making sure that you're viewing them at 100% in whatever imaging program you're using, change the dimensions (height/width) to a size that's easily viewed. My long side when I do pics for the web is usually 6" but you may want to consider using 4" as your long side if using in the blog itself rather than in the album. Hope that helps! Blessings!

I have satellite internet... it is the only kind I can get out here in nowhere. It loads super quick for me... in fact I can't even tell if there is a hesitation or not...

It takes dial-up folks mega-seconds to download ANY sort of page with graphics to it so I wouldn't let this bother you. We had dial-up for over 10 years and just in the last 4 months have we had cable access. Dial-up is just what it is... and unless something is pure text, without any graphics whatsoever, there's always going to be a wait for things to load. Dial-up users are used to it. At least we were anyway. :-) ~Midlife Woman
