                    13 things I LOVE about FALL   

1. breathtaking scenery and rugged beauty of vibrant colors and contrasts-sky, earth, and water...brilliant autumn leaves

2. clean, crisp air

3. venison on the table again :)

4. canning and freezing the harvest

5. getting out the sweaters, quilts, and thick flannel sheets

6. cozy woodfires

7. lighting spicy candles

8. days are shorter but not too short...

9. back into a school routine and more time for bedtime stories!

10. accompanying my true love to go hunting in our backwoods.    and

seeing lots of wildlife-deer, bears, foxes, porcupines, ermine, coyotes, turkeys... 

11. hayrides, cider, bonfires

12. my birthday and our anniversary are both in November

13. Thanksgiving- my favorite holiday

Fall just doesn't last long enough...it is our FAVORITE season.

Oh I love flannel sheets too.... There are just so many more then 13 things I love....
