Pictures of the new goats we brought home today

               ~Greetings from our PA mountain homestead~

Today we brought our new milking does reserved earlier this summer home. We have never shown goats, and I am afraid we aren't too experienced at the "stance" for these pictures, but here you go:

Meet Lil' Classy, a registered purebred French Alpine:

And then there is Whisper, a little registered American Oberhasli:

Milking Time!!!

This puts our new herd total at six does:

Two four year old Oberhasli twin does

One two year old Oberhalsi milking doe

One four year old French Alpine milking doe

One four year old Alpine/Togg milking doe

One yearling Alpine/Togg doe

We are planning on adding oberhasli twin doelings and an oberhasli/nubian doeling next month also!
