Hinds Feet on High Places

Well, six of the kids are gone for the week, but I am so busy I can hardly stop to catch my breath! I kept my oldest son home to help with the baby and other preschoolers, and it has been a big help. But after catching up on all the laundry I decided it was high time I get in the three youngest girls' room and give it a good housecleaning (being they're gone and all...perfect time to do the ol' wheelbarrow and shovel), and as I figured, it is going to take more than a week to get that job done. I did put a couple coats of paint up, so that explains a bit of the time spent. But the stuff stashed in closets, under beds and dressers, IN dressers...oh, MAN!!!  Two clothes drawers full of dolls, horses, and little pieces.  And what is with all the tiny scraps of cloth stuffed in little boxes of every shape and color?   Well, I got the errands run and a  birthday  cake baked, so now it's almost 1:00 and time to get back to the room so they have a decent place to sleep when we bring them home. We pick them up tomorrow morning. Sometimes pulling everything out and moving it around makes a much bigger mess than you started with, know what I mean? And I can't even finish painting because Wal Mart can't mix up the paint-they're out of a tint and won't have it for another month!!!  They are re-doing our Wal Mart and I HATE it. Not that I care for the store much to begin with.  Enough on THAT subject...

I'm off for a fun filled afternoon of dusting and putting a room back together. Wish me luck!   (I'll need it).
