Thursday Threesome

I am seeing…..brightening skies and lush green hillside with a fencerow along the top and our side garden at the bottom-little green sprouts and mulch between the rows...a candle crock converted into pencil jar in front of me on windowsill...on my desk,  notes from researching prices on butters and oils to start my goat's-milk soap venture...empty tea cup, stack of books on goatkeeping, goat milk, and soap making, knick knack shelf on wall with little treasures and baby pictures. Loveseat to my right with baby nest and soft flannel-backed quilt, my Bible and book I am almost finished reading. Large double window overlooking back yard and edge of the woods, backdropped by the mountain ridge. From here I can see the picnic pavilion and kids' playhouse.  Print hanging on the wall on other side of me depicting Canada geese settling on a blue marsh with brown rushes and a cloudy sky. 

I am hearing….little son under my desk looking through a basket of CD's, daughter quietly closing back door to go out and feed chickens and bunnies, robins chirping

I am smelling…nothing, yet...better go fix some breakfast!
