It wasn't so bad after all

Well, my neighbor asked only a few general questions that were very simple to answer:

Why do you homeschool?   What do you have to do to comply with the state laws?

Are you involved in a homeschool group; is your church affiliated in your homeschooling?

She was wanting someone to proofread her term papers that are soon due, so I offered to do that. I was saddened to hear her say that she did a recent paper on chimp-human cognition and that she referred to them as our anscestors!   I know she wishes sometimes she would have homeschooled her own children when they were growing up. It is too bad she has been indoctrinated with lies during her school years.

Well, I need to get back to work. I have about 25# of rhubarb to freeze, some ebay purchases to ship out, have to go get milk today (local farm), pick up a new bunny for Melissa, make potato salad for a soccer picnic tonight, call a friend, and keep working on the laundry. (What a gorgeous day for hanging laundry!) Still waiting on a friend to call about what goats they will sell us.  Can't WAIT!!!
