Evaluations start today

This afternoon we head to the evaluators with portfolios for my two oldest girls; they are also having achievement testing this year. Next week we have three more evaluations. Our evaluator is very nice; she has lots of goats, sheep, hogs, rabbits, and chickens. She homeschools her children also. They paticipate in the same 4-H club as we do. So everone is anxious to head off to their farm for the afternoon. We are having a bit of sun today as I had hoped. I will be mailing out a stack of packages from ebay sales this past weekend, then doing my Walmart shopping (that is all we have around here...even that is 20 miles+ away). Then tonight it is off to cake decorating class for three of the girls.

When I saw the term "evaluator" I knew that you must live in PA! LOL!. I have to start doing them next years since my oldest will be 8 and I am already nervour, but not necessarily about the evaluator but seeing the superintendant of the school. I wish I knew a homesteading evaluator, but it is quite a bit of a drive out to the Alleghanys from SE, PA. :)
