Mom's List
Today the forcast was for rain, so we told Mom we would come into town and help her with some of the things on her to do list. We worked around here some this morning thinking it would start raining any minute..........cloudy but fairly warm, so really pleasant to work outside. She was fixing dinner for us, so we headed in a little before noon. Hubby did some tilling in her yard, she had some dirt work done recently and boy is her yard a mess! After lunch, we put in a new faucet set, did caulking in the shower, put on new stool seat, more tilling, dug up dead bush, planted new bush, raked and bagged leaves, put up hooks on porch for wind chimes etc., cleaned gutters.............then it finally started to rain, and a brief hail storm too! I didn't think we would get to do anything outdoors for her, but it held off just long enough to get some things marked off of the list.
A few days ago, I mentioned that I need to start going to bed earlier.........well tonight would be a good time to start. We have a long day tomorrow. Hubby has 3 Dr. appointments and inbetween those we pick up more chickens. We will have to leave here by 6:30 in the morning, and will not get home until late afternoon. Grandson Nick has his first baseball game tomorrow evening, sure wish we could go, but we just won't be able to stay in Topeka that late since we will be gone all day long.
I need to take The Little Dog out to potty and head to bed. The Little Dog is one of my nicknames for our house dog, Shadow. He is definately the littlest dog we have and the only house dog. Thankgoodness!

Sounds like you have a busy day. I hope all went well. Going to bed early makes all the difference to me. I know mom enjoyed and appreciated all your help. Love, Tina
