60 years

Another windy day here, but not quite as bad as yesterday.  And it was warm, so we were able to work outside most of the day and that is what I like to do!  I did some little jobs around the chicken houses, put hinges on a little door for them to go outside, fixed hooks on a couple of doors,  just little things that had been put off until a nice day came along. I spent some time working  in the greenhouse late afternoon, potting some hanging baskets and transplanting some tomatoes.   Mom came out and found me in the greenhouse, we picked some lettuce for her to take home. Today would have been my folks 60th wedding anniversary, so I think Mom was feeling a little lonely.  By the time she left it was dark, so supper was late tonight.  I am thankful that my throat wasn't hurting today and I felt like doing some things unlike yesterday when I just felt yucky.   However, tonight hubby says he is feeling like he is coming down with a cold.....so we will see.  I really think it is all just things the wind is stiring up lately.
