In case you haven't heard............
KU............Kansas University..........the Jayhawks in Lawrence, Kansas are the 2008 National Basketball Champions!! What a very exciting game they played and won in overtime on Monday night! Talk about sitting on the edge of your seat, wow. Our youngest son (he is 30) but still our youngest, is a huge fan. I called him right after the game was over to see if he was still breathing?? Now any other year I would not be interested in these games, but it is really fun for our local team to do so well.
Another gloomy day here, now I am just telling you what it was like, I have decided I spend way too much time complaining about the weather, so mind you I am not complaining. I however have no ambition on gloomy days, the sun must shine for me to have any energy or motivation! I did get a pie baked for a friend that had surgery recently.
Grandaughter age 4 will be coming bright and early on Thursday morning to spend 3-4 days with us. Looking forward to that, she keeps us on our toes! She is a big help with chores and loves the animals. She is not afraid of anything...........sometimes that is good and sometimes bad? She will give the baby goats a little exercise, lol. She especially loves the little chickens, however they are growing so fast they aren't so cute, they are 2 weeks old already.
