Heritage Hill Homestead

Sunday afternoon

It was a beautiful day today!  We didn't make it to church this morning, but other than that it was a nice Sunday.  Mom came out for dinner, and spent the afternoon.  After eating (chicken breasts, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cheesy brocolli, and garlic bread)  and cleaning up the kitchen, we spent the afternoon simply goofing around.  I showed Mom a bunch of pictures that I have taken that are stored on my computer.   Then we went out and took a tour of the farm.  Showing her the baby goats, chickens, dogs and cats!   Also the greenhouse and garden.  The weather has been so nasty all winter, she had not been out here but once and that was Easter.   We joked that we gave her a tour of her farm!  As you may know from previous posts, we live where my folks did for almost 55 years!  It was a relaxing afternoon.

A lot of rain is predicted for this week, hope to get a few more things planted ahead of it tomorrow.
